Antti Vilpponen, CEO, Co-Founder

Antti Vilpponen has several years experience founding and working in startups. He has strong international experience from both personal and professional life. As the originator of the concept, he works closely with Karri in product development as well as looking after the overall business.

Antti holds a BSc from the Helsinki School of Economics and an MSc in International High Technology Marketing from the Lappeenranta University of Technology.

Ville Vesterinen, Editor, Co-Founder

In addition to founding several companies of his own, Ville has worked in various fields and disciplines – from an Argentinean non-profit to a multinational – in a range of positions, ranging from strategy to sales.

Ville sits on Finnish Industry Investment’s Investment Council.

Ville holds a BSc from the Helsinki School of Economics in International Business and Finance and an MSc from the London School of Economics in European Politics and Governance with a focus on Political Economy.

Miikka Kukkosuo, Co-Founder

Miikka Kukkosuo has over five years experience in the mobile software and social gaming industry, contributing via various roles to Digital Chocolate’s transformation from a startup to a world-class company. He is currently responsible for Digital Chocolate’s global handset manufacturer sales and strategic business development, and works closely with Antti to improve ArcticStartup’s sales performance.

Miikka holds an M.Sc. (Tech) from Helsinki University of Technology (TKK) in International Business and Strategy, and Software Business.

Karri Saarinen has more than six years experience building web products with a strong focus on customer development methods. He oversees the development, design and improvement of all ArcticStartup sites and products.

Nick Mueller, Writer, Sweden

Nick Mueller does business development for consumer web startups of many colors and shapes, and has also been known to help established companies develop their digital communications and online strategies. Nick was a blogger for Gawker Media in the US until 2007 when he moved to Sweden and completed the MBA program at the Stockholm School of Economics.

Hendrik Morkel, Writer, Cleantech

Hendrik Morkel has worked in NGOs and companies in Honduras, Germany and Finland. Currently he runs his own environmental management consultancy, Korpi Consulting. Morkel holds a BBA from the Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences and an MSc  in Corporate Environmental Management from the University of Jyväskylä. He focuses on cleantech writing.
