ArcticEvening Reykjavik

We’ll kick off our autumn season of ArcticEvenings with a great location for some startup action – Reykjavik, Iceland.

Even though the country and Reykjavik itself are relatively small, we’ll try and get the most out of the talent there by hosting a speed networking event followed by a panel discussion on startups, growing them and the challenges present. It will be interesting sharing the experiences between Finland, Sweden and Norway as well as Iceland. What are the similarities and how do they differ? Come to ArcticEvening Reykjavik to find out.

If you haven’t been to ArcticEvenings before, we suggest you take a look at videos from previous events. The events are laid back and we’ve received a lot of compliments from organising these in other Nordic cities and now it’s time for Reykjavik.

Venue

The venue for our Reykjavik event will be Grandagardi 2, by the sea. It’s an old re-done warehouse, which will be a great setting for an ArcticEvening.

The event will begin at 8pm.

How do I sign up?

Due to the venue, we won’t be limiting the tickets this time. All you need to do is show up. We would however appreciate if you’d leave your business card with us – we love to see the variety of people showing up at our events.

Program

We’ll try something new in Reykjavik. Something new for ArcticEvenings at least.

  • Speed networking event to begin the event at 8.15pm after some introductions. Speed networking works so that the people will be set up in such a manner that you will have the possibility to meet some 13-15 people during a period of 45 minutes. More on this in Reykjavik.
  • Panel discussion with some very interesting companies; Meniga and Primula. From Meniga we’ll have two co-founders Viggo Asgeirsson and Asgeir Orn Asgeirsson and from Primula, their CEO, Ragnheiður Magnúsdóttir. We’ll talk for some 30-40 minutes followed by questions and discussion.
  • After the panel, more discussions and networking will take place.
