Agriculture represents 12-13% of the climate gas emissions in the World.
The problems of methane emissions, smelly manure and costly trade fertilizer can be turned into opportunities.
A farm can be self sufficient in energy based on own manure and waste resources and at the same time reduce emissions of the greenhouse gases methane and nitrous oxide (laughing gas).
Farms with their own biogas plant will besides doing a profitable investment (down paid in 4 years in average), have benefits like:
* Improved biofertilizer - reduced use of expensive trade fertilizer + reduce /remove odour problems
* Simpler manure management
Biowaz develop and sell farmbased biogas systems. The new patent pending technology with standardised, module-based components, together with an industrialized production, makes the investment cost substantially lower than existing known products on the market. The technology is demonstrated since early 2008 and documented by The University of Life Sciences in Norway. Biowaz launch commercially during 2009 in Norway and Sweden and Germany and UK in 2010. In order to expand quickly the company is considering taking in 1-2 mio EUR of expansion capital.
Vision
In 10 years time a biogas plant will be as common as a tractor on farms with livestock.
Biowaz will become the leading global supplier of standardized biogas systems to the farm market.
