Playdo has been creating casual games since 1999 and has since also entered the market for virtual worlds. Its games are distributed through Miniclip, one of the world's most famous casual gaming sites.
In April 2008, Playdo released Spineworld a virtual world that has attracted some one million registered users as well as a 4.3 million USD investment for Playdo in December 2008.
