Since I jumped out from Nokia, I've missed a very useful event we had going on: the Hack day. Now, me and some friends have decided to try to reproduce the concept out in the open - with anyone free to attend.

In a nutshell, it is an event where people spend 24 hours for doing something on top of some APIs that is demoable, cool and hip. Demos will be held in the end of 24 hours of hacking, in a 90 seconds to present without slides - just your code -format. Winner gets a prize.
This is an excellent venue for trying out your early access APIs too. If you got 'em for Developers, we'll be more than happy to promote in this event.
So, consider if you can join as developer (50 first will be eligible), as a sponsor (we've got a roughly 3500 budget for food, t-shirts, prizes, etc.) or as a API provider (you'll get some pretty good feedback about it, promise).
Oulu Open Hack is held on a binary day: 11.11.10. (Starting at 11:00, naturally). And yes, it is up north, in Oulu.

You should bring the Oulu crew to Helsinki and organize a similar event here in Helsinki. @akonan could consider using their premises. We should bring game companies in too with their APIs. I'll be happy to promote the event at ArcticStartup.
If you think there's something there just let me know and we're a go.
