ArcticStartup is an independent and privately-owned media. We review and report on technology startups and growth entrepreneurship from the Nordic and Baltic countries.

We take our role in the startup ecosystem very seriously and approach our writing with the same seriousness and professionalism. However, in addition to being a media, ArcticStartup provides consulting services and builds its own products and services. Given this, we go to great lengths to ensure full editorial independence: with the exception of sponsored posts (see below) commercial considerations have no influence on our choice of topic or the content of our posts.

As with most online media, we are primarily advertising funded. Besides independent editorial content, we also publish paid blog posts four times a month, which are always clearly labeled as ‘Sponsor‘ or ‘Sponsored‘.

As with other professional media, we take full editorial responsibility for our content.

When we write based on rumor, we state this explicitly. We believe it is in everyone’s interests that any information that might affect the credibility of our journalism is fully disclosed.”
