Labster is hiring a Financial Manager

Join the most passionate and visionary ed-tech team in Denmark.

As the Financial Manager, you will work with a dedicated and visionary team of entrepreneurs to manage finances and bookkeeping at Labster, the company who makes next-generation virtual laboratories for science education. You will be working at our Danish office at Kgs. Nytorv in central Copenhagen for 2-3 days a week.

What will you do?

You will be working as the primary leader of the financial and administrative side of the company:

Administer all budgets and Labster financials
Be responsible for tracking Labster’s monthly dashboard metrics and financial overview
Manage administrative budgets and responsibilities in our grant projects (for example, communicating with our partner universities, making sure deadlines are met)
Monthly accounting: categorize all bills, payments, receipts, etc. under correct category and calculate the accounts -we use e-conomic for electronic bookkeeping
All payments including salaries, bills and employee reimbursements
Send and record outgoing invoices, and make sure they are paid on time
many more tasks that are always in the making!

Who are you?

You are studying for or have completed a relevant education such as Cand.Merc.Aud from CBS or similar
You can read, talk and write in both Danish and English
You have experience with e-conomic or other accounting platforms and excel
You are great with numbers: you understand both the little details and big picture of company financials
You possess fierce organizational talents
You have a passion for streamlining and optimizing operations
You value autonomy and demonstrating a responsible, positive attitude
You are prepared to handle the many ad-hoc and different tasks that arise from an exciting, ever-changing entrepreneurial environment
You are trustworthy, and will be able to stay with Labster for at least 2 years
