Overview.
As GUI Specialist and Qt Developer you will be a key member of a team dedicated to build modern graphical user interface applications for media devices. This role mainly involves software design and development but also requires strong focus on users’ needs.
Tuxera is one of the fastest growing startups in Finland. We already serve big technology companies in USA, Europe and Asia. The work environment at Tuxera is very international, always open to new ideas, and we offer you the possibility to work remotely.
This position can taken on full-time or part-time basis.
Requirements:
- Experience in design of user interfaces, particularly with Qt
- Very good skills in C/C++ Linux programming
- Good understanding of file systems (ext3, FAT16/32, NTFS), hard disks, media devices
- Experience with design and execution of usability tests
- Experience installing a wide range of operating systems: Linux, Windows XP/Vista/7, Mac OS X
- Passion for delivering a positive user experience
