Founded in 2006 and backed up by some of the largest venture capital investors Rebtel now intends to expand. Rebtel has its HQ in Nacka Strand, Stockholm and employs around 30 individuals. Due to company growth and new expansion plans, the company wants to strengthen its R&D organization. The Job
Rebtel created a new way of calling and built the system supporting that from scratch. For us to create solutions that meet our customers high standards we need reliable developers equipped with an open mind that can contribute creatively to the team. Our customers are cost conscientious people that have an inherent need to communicate with their loved ones far, far away. It is of utmost importance to these individuals to have access to a solution that is synonymous with the highest possible quality as well as reliably low prices. To deliver that we need to be smart, honor simplicity and safeguard uptime and quality. We need you to help us with that. You will be a vital part of the development team making sure that our service is up by troubleshooting and fixing issues on the production platform software. You will also develop code for new exciting services and solutions.
Your Profile
To be able to help us out you need to be able to balance the need of creativity with structure and the need speed with quality. To fit, we think you need to have deep experience in .Net, enterprise-level system architecture, SQL Server, SOA, performance tuning and client/server optimizations. Furthermore, you need to know C#, Web Services, Html, JavaScript, MVC, jQuery, WCF, Ajax and ASP.Net. It is also a bonus if you are familiar with the following techniques; Flex/Flash, Silverlight, web for devices (mobiles), EPI or other content management systems. You either have an academic degree or are self taught. Either way, you have at least a few years of experience for software development.
Even though we are a Swedish based company we work in an international environment. Ar customers are spread out over the world and many of our employees are from outside Sweden, e.g. from Russia, Canada, Mexico, Morocco, India, Pakistan and Venezuela. Therefore you need excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. If you know Swedish it is a great bonus.
