The Company
Rebtel is one of Sweden's fastest growing innovation companies and turns local calls into international calls through innovative VOIP-technology and local numbers in over 50 countries. Rebtel has around 4.000.000 users worldwide and several percentages of some of the largest calling corridors. Founded in 2006 and backed up by some of the largest venture capital investors Rebtel now intends to expand. Rebtel has its HQ in Nacka Strand, Stockholm and employs around 30 individuals.
The company now plans to build a strong application team to provide an even better calling experience for users with smart phones, and to complement mobile calling with desktop clients. With this in mind, we're looking to recruit Application Developers who will be responsible for developing software for Rebtel's application users.
The Job
As an Application Developer at Rebtel you will get the opportunity extend the Rebtel functionality to the new client environments available on e.g. smart phones. You will also be part of building new innovative client solutions to serve a growing and fast moving user base. You will also actively take part in making sure that our current applications meet Rebtel quality standards.
Your Profile
To fit, we think you need to have experience from developing applications for windows, Mac, iPhone and Android platforms. Your are a devoted application developer who has a creative mind and feeds on new technology. Rebtel is a start-up company that has managed to nurture wild ideas and evolve them into high quality services. We live in the low margin world where a lean organization battles with the need to excel and deliver high standard solutions in a never sleeping, transaction intense environment. Therefore you need to be a creative person with a sense of structure. You may recently have graduated or you may be self taught. Never the less, you need to have worked a few years in the application development field.
Even though we are a Swedish based company we work in an international environment. Our customers are spread out over the world and many of our employees are from outside Sweden, e.g. from Russia, Canada, Mexico, Morocco, India, Pakistan and Venezuela. Therefore you need excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. If you know Swedish it is a great bonus.
