Since 2006, iAudioguide.com distributes its own mp3 city guides for currently 7 European cities in 5 European languages. We plan to expand into other language regions, including the Baltic and Nordic States through a franchising system. The future franchisees will be able to use our content in their respective language and are fully free what to do with it (except re-translation of course). We offer help in online distribution, are happy to share the iaudioguide website, include the new languages in our iphone app etc. Typcially a franchisee will create new language version. While the English language market is already relatively crowded, this a the opportunity for a reader of arcticstartup with entrepreneurial thinking and selling skills. This will not create a full time job, but a capable and motivated franchisee should be able to earn a decent and steady revenue stream from being (and potentially staying) the only provider of mp3 city guides in their language.
