This is not just a job to get you through the economic crisis! We are a start-up in the center of Helsinki with a game changing online outlet concept and we are offering you a career with us. After completing our first round of funding we are now looking for THE Developer to join the team in early September.
The person we are looking for is an all-round coder with good back-end skills who has an eye for design and can handle front-end work as well. We are looking for someone who is social and wants to learn and be a part of a growing start-up. We want you to be passionate about what you do and we want you to be involved in making our service huge. We want you to have an entrepreneurial mindset and we want you to really let your talents come to good use!
You will be required to run our site and make updates as well as work on developing new features. We are also looking for you to be a part of our management team and help with strategy as we expand overseas. We are looking for that one of a kind guy or girl that can step up and be our lead developer and contribute in other facets of start-up life. You will be our most important recruitment and therefore we expect a lot but we will give a lot back!
Minimum skills:
We require good skills in HTML 5, CSS 3 and JavaScript and advanced skills in PHP and MySQL. It would be beneficial if you had some skills in Drupal but this is not a requirement as we expect you to be a quick learner. Please note that there will be a small skill test involved.
We expect you to speak English and Finnish. Additional language skills are a merit.
Our final skill requirement is in your creativity, your passion to make things better, faster, stronger and your view that we can always improve!
