GENERAL
MusicLogg is developing must-have-tools for musicians as a web service and mobile apps. We have the hardcore audio processing skills (2xPhD’s) and we’re looking for highly motivated people to complete our multilingual (FIN, SWE, ENG) team. Development is currently in stealth mode (closed alpha), and you’ll have a great chance to affect the end result. To fulfill our vision, we will collaborate with artists/teachers such as Jordan Rudess from Dream Theater, Mr. Fastfinger (Mika Tyyskä), Rockway.fi, Sibelius Academy etc. MusicLogg is one of the awarded groups from Aalto Venture Garage’s Summer of Startups 2011 and funded by Aalto ACE+Tekes. All the positions are on location in Otaniemi, Finland @ Aalto University. The positions may also be part-time, making it ideal, e.g., for student at Aalto University.
MARKET AND COMMERCIALIZATION DEVELOPER (engineering or business major)
You’ll be doing:
- Research the commercialization possibilities of different scenarios around Musiclogg
- Mapping of customer needs, market potential evaluation, and create business model scenarios
- Mapping of commercial competition and freedom to operate
- Mapping of contract types in music technology industry, resource needs
- Funding opportunity mapping and evaluation
About you:
- Business developer with a software heart or
- Software developer with a business core
- Desire to learn new things and develop your capabilities
- Initiative and scheduling skills
- Passionate about music and good products
Also good:
- Playing an instrument at any skill level
Duration: 9 months or a long-term partnership in our startup
