Estonia's Cloutex Raises €441,000 Seed For Cloud Services Integration

Estonian cloud startup Cloutex announces it has raised $600,000 (€441,000) in seed funding. The company provides cloud services integrations to synchronize your customers and records across platforms like Pipedrive, Salesforce, FreshBooks, Highrise, and so on. Integrating data can get messy and time consuming to do manually, allowing Cloutex to charge $29 a month for two integrations, and with six connected services for $99 a month.

The funding was led by United Partners, SmartCap and EstBan business angels. Previously Cloutex raised a small amount of pre-seed funding from angels Riivo Anton and Gerri Kodres and Startup Wise Guys.

“Services that are out there today come either with high development cost or with new data entry across platforms only, which isn’t actually synchronization,” explains founder and CEO Peeter Mark. “We’re revolutionizing the concept by bringing bi-directional full sync to the table while making it accessible for everyone.”

As with most Estonian startups that receive a decent chunk of funding, Cloutex is pursuing the American dream by opening an office in the United States to go after that American market. Additionally with the funding they’re hiring extra staff to assist in connecting more services to their platform.
