Arctic15 Will Be Bigger And Better This Year!

We've been quite busy since December putting together our plans for 2012 and naturally that includes Arctic15, the annual conference we're putting together for growth entrepreneurs from Northern Europe. This year, the event will take place over the course of two very exciting days in October. October 17th and 18th to be exact. We've redefined our concept a little bit to better suit the needs of the entrepreneurs in the region. During the two days we'll have more than 50 people on two stages sharing their advice and experience. Tickets and the full program will be available later in the spring, but below is a little introduction to what we have in mind.

Partnering is easy to talk about but a lot harder to undertake. It requires courage, patience and determination over time. It is rarely a quick fix solution to a problem and can sometimes be a frustrating and disappointing experience - falling short of initial hopes and expectations. A long and winding road where it is hard to navigate.
But it does not have to be this way.
Motivators And Inspirers
Networking and goal setting are important concepts for any aspiring entrepreneur. I thought I would share a couple of my favorite "coaches" or motivators. Some of you probably know either or both of them, but there is a good chance that many don't. Anyway, it also would also be interesting to hear who are the inspirers you appreciate.
The first one is Keith Ferrazzi, a small-town boy who made it to youngest partner and Chief Marketing Officer in a Fortune 500 at Deloitte Consulting, and lots more. Keith started his authorship with Never Eat Alone, an introduction into world building success through relationship building. His newest book is the #1 NY Times bestseller Who’s Got Your Back, which deepens the topic of actual building of relationships. Some find the second book better-balanced and more about actual relationship building than Never Eat Alone.
Seminar: New revenue models of music

Musiikki&Media organizes a free seminar with the theme "New revenue models of music" on May 16th 10.00-15.00 at Sibelius Academy, Helsinki. The seminar features opinions and insights around what seem to be the revenue models of the future and what are the changes already taken place in the music industry.
Why I'm picking it up is because the event might interest also those not directly involved in music business as Johan Vosmeijer, Managing Director of the interesting German startup SellaBand will participate. Crowd sourcing is one of themes covered in the seminar.
Free registration before May 13th is required. The enrollment and later on event details are available on the Musiikki&Media 08 web site.
